Red Hat Inc (RHT) Releases Earnings Results, Beats Expectations By $0.01 EPS

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $613 million to $623 million for the fiscal third quarter. Adjusted net income totaled $101.2 million, or 55 cents per share, versus $87.8 million a year ago. Red Hat’s quarterly revenue was up 19.0% compared to the same quarter a year ago.

For the current quarter ending in December, Red Hat expects its per-share earnings to be 58 cents. That beat analysts’ projections by a penny per share. On average, equities analysts forecast that Red Hat Inc. will post $2.21 EPS for the current year.
