Red Lobster’s Response To Beyoncé’s Shoutout Was Depressing
She also gives the infamous shout out to Red Lobster in her lyrics “when he f*** me good I take his a** to Red Lobster, cause I slay”.

Red Lobster’s mention in a racy new song by Super Bowl pop singer Beyonce was enough to send people in droves to the Orlando-based seafood chain.
“It’s clear that Beyonce has helped create some Red Lobster fans, and we are very grateful to her for that”, Red Lobster CEO Kim Lopdrup told CNBC.
Some restaurants have been offering special Beyoncé-themed drinks, such as a “Bey Breeze”, to celebrate.
The song was performed at the Super Bowl Sunday night and is was part of an announcement of a new tour and album from the pop singer.
Over the weekend, the brand was skewered on social media for not responding fast enough to the shout-out: it took more than eight hours before the chain woke up to the marketing opportunity, which, on Twitter, is a lifetime. Prove to me you got some coordination, ‘ she chants before the camera pans over graffiti that says: “‘stop shooting us”.
“‘Cheddar Bey Biscuits’ has nice ring to it, don’t you think? You could have done so much more”, read one tweet.
