Reddit user takes selfie while his wife gives birth in the background
The man, who is believed to be from the U.S., shared the image on Reddit, with the caption: ‘My wife wanted to make sure that someone took a picture of the expression on our faces when our daughter was born today.

“My favourite was reading the comments of everyone saying, ‘She’s going to kill you, ‘” he told BuzzFeed News.
Pleased with his efforts, Gil uploaded the photo to Imgur, where it has since been viewed over 2 MILLION times! I showed it to her in between pushes and she cracked up.
“Sorry to hear she’ll grow up without a father”, quipped one user.
He also said that his mother-in-law honoured the original request and took pictures of their reactions about 10 minutes later.
Fellow Redditors congratulated the proud new father.
“Congratulations man! I just had my first child this morning as well, what a surreal and incredible feeling huh?”
“She’s going to kick your a** for this. I wouldn’t. Guess that’s why I’m still single!”
On his Facebook page, Solano says their new baby is “as pretty as her mother”. “I thought it was hilarious and told him he should send it to a few of our friends”.
But this dad-to-be has seemingly braved the wrath of his wife by not only posing for a selfie with her in agony in labour behind him – but posted it on the internet.
All is well for the family, post-selfie.
In the freakish image, the man, wearing a casual red T-shirt, pulls an animated face as he captures the moment their daughter was welcomed into the world.
