Redskins could play back-to-back games in London in 2016
Next season’s London series will conclude in Week 8, when the Cincinnati Bengals host the Redskins at Wembley Stadium.

The Redskins will face the Cincinnati Bengals on October 30 at Wembley Stadium.
The NFL on Wednesday released information on the three games that will be played in London next season, but the entire picture is not complete. I thought everybody from the National Football League standpoint handled it really, really well. From a certain perspective, that might be a bonus for Washington: They would get eight home games, six road games, and two neutral-site games under that set of circumstances. “We’ll deal with that in the offseason when it comes”.
Obviously with the NFC East being so bad this year, there could be jockeying for third place as the season plays out. So in theory the Washington Redskins could be playing on back to back weeks.
In the first of the three London games scheduled for next season, the Indianapolis Colts will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley on October 2.
When the Rams played in London in 2012, they agreed to pay a $25,000 lease payment – the normal fee for one game under the Rams lease agreement with the CVC. According to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, NFL executives are in Mexico this week to explore venues and options for holding a game in Mexico City.
Ray Halbritter, an Oneida Nation representative, said the league’s decision to send the Redskins to London is “offensive” and will “promote an ugly racial epithet” worldwide. “Everybody is going to love that place, guaranteed”.
Redskins defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois’ take? Hopefully it would be the time of year that we could get a lot of fans over there, whether it be near Christmas or near Thanksgiving, or September when the weather is still lovely, even in the United Kingdom. “It was killing us all week”.
It will be the fourth consecutive year the Jaguars have played in the UK.
It also will be the next opportunity for area business and elected officials to blitz London business executives. “It’s not like you can truly go there and enjoy the whole thing”, Blackmon said. “We’re certainly looking at the success we had with the OTT (live streaming) game with Yahoo and how we can expand on that for a larger package for the 2016 season”.

The NFL announced two other London games for 2016. I thought the logistics of the trip were outstanding.
