Griffin told WJLA-TV, “I feel like I’m the best quarterback in the league, and I have to go out and show that”.
What RGIII said wasn’t that bad. It doesn’t matter. If thinking so helps him stay focused through the injuries and the noise and makes him a better quarterback, any fan should take that in a heartbeat over a modest, mediocre signal-caller.
I’ve been around a lot of NFL players for a lot of interviews, and what Griffin said there is way more introspective than nearly anything you’ll hear in a locker room.
