RedState Retracts Trump Invitation After Megyn Kelly Comments
The majority of the people interviewed only had one person that they wanted to talk about: Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Fox News CEO Roger Ailes hates Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, which is reason enough to understand why host and moderator Megyn Kelly zeroed in on the real estate mogul.
“Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad — she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard”, his campaign said. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes”. Wallace asked Trump to provide proof for his earlier statement that the Mexican government is sending criminals to the United States, and later questioned him on how he could be trusted to run the nation’s economy when his companies have declared bankruptcy four times.
In a follow-up blog post, Erickson amplified why he was disinviting Trump: “there are even lines blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross”, he wrote.
Erickson later tweeted that he has invited Kelly to come in Trump’s place, but that she “probably can’t attend.” Erickson said Trump backers sent him nasty e-mails likening Kelly to a prostitute and using “the n word” to describe President Obama.
Later, Trump’s campaign released a rambling statement in which he repeated that he had meant “nose” and stated: “Only a deviant would think anything else”.
Said a tweet on Fiorina’s campaign account: “Mr. Trump: There. Is”. As a group, the aspiring nominees are certainly more experienced and seemingly more ready for a national campaign than the collection of politicians who sought to deny Mitt Romney the GOP nomination in 2012.
“Trump stuck his foot in his mouth, as usual, but that’s nothing new”.
On Thursday, she said that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s questioning of the amount of federal spending on women’s healthcare offered ammunition to Democrats who want to paint Republicans as anti-women. Trump then went on a rant to support his well-publicized accusation that the Mexican government sends rapists and drug dealers to the U.S.
Trump also made an unusual pledge to potential donors in his fundraising plea.
“A portion of the Republican electorate definitely thinks this is important”, says Adrian Carrasquillo.
Mackowiak added it also represents a missed opportunity for Trump to speak to conservative activists and reporters who had gathered for the event.
