Reese Witherspoon Says the World Is Ready for Legally Blonde 3

She last played the character of Elle Woods in the 2003 movie Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blue. We couldn’t agree more to be honest, celebratory bend and snap, anyone?

If Reese Witherspoon has her way, Elle Woods could soon be bending and snapping in the Oval Office.

Reese Witherspoon recently celebrated the 12th birthday of her son Deacon this Saturday and this adorable celebrity baby is starting to look more and more like his mother every time he is captured on camera.

Although she’s interested in a third film, Witherspoon doesn’t know if it will ever actually see the light of day: “I don’t know”.

She added that it would be neat to have Elle run from office or be in the Supreme Court.

When pressed about a definite answer, she joked: “Call MGM, I have no idea!”

Each of the movies grossed over $100 million worldwide.

The franchise has since inspired the Tony-nominated Legally Blonde: The Musical, which debuted on Broadway in 2007, and the current musical on stage at Lower Ossington Theatre in Toronto.

Back in 2013, Jennifer Coolidge, Reese’s co-star in the movie, said that Reese turned down a third film before, but cited there was a good reason.

The 39-year-old actress said although she is not the one to decide about the project, she would love to see everyone’s favourite Gemini vegetarian as president, said The Hollywood Reporter.
