“And I think that would be a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office”. “Red, White and Blonde” was released back in July 2, 2003 and the film saw Witherspoon’s character go to the capitol to help pass a bill that will outlaw testing cosmetic products on animals.

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that Reese is “nervous” about her daughter Ava’s acting ambitions. While there aren’t any definitive plans for a sequel, Witherspoon said she felt that now would be an opportune time to check in with Elle Woods, Harvard Law class of 2004.

The last installment in the franchise, which Reese produced but did not feature in, was Legally Blondes – a straight to TV spin-off which starred British twin actresses Milly and Becky Rosso as Elle’s cousins.

The insider explained to America’s OK! magazine: “Reese feels like she lost part of her childhood because she started acting so young”.

Despite owning production company Pacific Standard – the company behind hit 2014 films “Gone Girl” and “Wild”- Witherspoon explained that the Legally Blonde decision is out of her hands, joking “call MGM, I have no idea!” “That’s why we need to do 3, to win everybody back”.
