Reggie Bush will sign with the Bills if he passes a physical

“Obviously we feel good about Karlos”, Ryan said. “I felt like the opportunity here was special for me and the team, for the coaching staff and for the fans as well”. Bush can help out on third downs as a pass catching back, which would allow McCoy to get some rest and not carry the entire workload.

“That was also a point of emphasis definitely returning some punts and some kicks”, said Bush.

The pressure is on for him to showcase a return to form after failing to do so last season, especially if he wants to keep playing for a while. In either case, Williams projects to the No. 4 role behind McCoy, Bush and Gillislee to start the season, although he can push Gillislee and Bush with a strong preseason.

He ran 93 times for 517 yards and seven touchdowns last season and added two more scores on receptions for the kind of production any team would like from a backup running back. He averaged more than 1,000 rushing yards per season from 2011-13 with the Dolphins and Lions but has been hindered by injuries since.
