Reggie Wayne Receiving Interest From Several Teams

It sounds like he’ll sign with a National Football League team and be in camp this summer, but it’s not clear what kind of shot he’ll have at a significant role. Mike Wells of ESPN.com reports that Wayne said he’s spoken to teams that have shown interest in bringing him on board for what he says will be a last hurrah in the NFL. “I’m just thankful to be able to have healthy kids and all that stuff and be able to enjoy it”.

“Ideal is playing one more year and hanging it up”, Wayne told RTV6.

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard presented Wayne with the key Friday afternoon during the Indiana Black Expo’s Corporate Luncheon.

The 36-year-old had surgery to fix a torn triceps this offseason but doesn’t believe it will hold him back in one final campaign.
