How much extra charges you will have to pay for Jio Prime services?
Last week, the company announced their Jio Prime subscription under which the subscribers will be charged for data and other services from April 1 onwards.
Jio stands as an innovator which transformed the telecommunications sector in India previous year.
Previously, Samsung provided the LTE core, base stations and solutions required for VoLTE services, as well as massive deployment services for establishing a nationwide network for Jio.

While Jio’s Rs 96 plan offers unlimited data to Prime members, 7GB data is available at 4G speed. As I write this article, I am also going through multiple tweets from people who seem to be facing issues trying to sign up for Jio Prime Membership.

While users may be delighted by the offer, Reliance Jio has left its competitors anxious, with Bharti Airtel’s Chairman Sunil Mittal saying, “Tariffs that they (Jio) have announced are still very aggressive, which means you got to respond”.

In order to subscribe to these new packs, you need to first verify if these are available for your Airtel number.
Pay Rs 99 via Cash or Card.
You can do so by paying a one-time fee of Rs 99 via MyJio app, the company’s website as well as via Jio offline stores.
For this plan, Jio Prime members will get 600MB worth of data at 4G speeds.
For postpaid users, the plans are of Rs 303 (28 GB 4G data for a month with 1 GB daily data limit), Rs 499 (58 GB data with 2 GB data limit per day), and Rs 999 (60 GB data for a month).
For Non-Prime members: The same price will just get you 1GB of data for non-Prime members.
Remember, voice-calling, SMS and access to Jio’s apps is free for all Jio users. There are rumors that you have to pay small amount to extend your free Jio services until June 30.
For Jio Prime members, this plan will give a total of 28GB data and that will have a data cap of 1GB per day. “We are working with Jio to improve user experiences and prepare for the continued evolution of their network”.
