Remedy Addressing Quantum Break Woes on PC
But that’s remarkably what happened with the PC release of Quantum Break. Remedy plans to roll out an update in the “near future” that will include fixes for these issues. They say that a rounding error was introduced late into production that is affecting framerates and they are already working on a fix, as well as a GPU memory leak issue that is slowing rendering rates.

Remedy said it isn’t just working on bug or crash complaints, either.
As for Quantum Break, developer Remedy Entertainment is now working with Microsoft Studios to solve the issues players are experiencing.
However there are some major issues with the PC port of Quantum Break that Remedy won’t be fixing.
It’s astonishing that a developer who cut their teeth on the PC with the Max Payne series and Death Rally, a developer whose game became a cornerstone of benchmarking tools, didn’t add a quit button to the main menu.
Remedy acknowledges the PC version of Quantum Break has some serious issues, including a stuttering frame rate and frame pacing, performance issues with Windows 10, crashing at launch, and more.

When Microsoft announced that Remedy Entertainment’s fancy-looking, time-fiddling Xbox One adventure was coming to PC, you could hear the whoops from all the way at the back of the room (a handful of excessively devoted Xbox One fans aside). “We also want to give PC gamers more choice and this will come in a future update”. Either Remedy has the world’s most inept quality control department, or they deliberately chose to go for the cash grab and fix the game post-launch.
