Rep. Jason Chaffetz: Probe deleted Hillary Clinton emails cited in FBI report
“If she applied for a low-level job at the State Department today she couldnt even get a security clearance”, Trump said at an election rally in North Carolina. The congressman – Republican Jason Chaffetz – is also warning the technology firm that one of its engineers who deleted Clinton’s electronic files a year ago could face federal charges of obstructing justice and destroying evidence.

The mass-deletion came just days after Platte River Networks, the company Mrs. Clinton hired to handle her server, had a conference call with Mrs. Clinton’s lawyers, who had been in charge of going through the emails, said Rep. Jason Chaffetz, chairman of the House Oversight Committee.
Kaine likened Republican Donald Trump’s recent call for Russian Federation to “find the 30,000 emails that are missing” from Clinton’s server to the 1972 burglary at the Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate office in Washington that upended Richard Nixon’s presidency. Opinion polls show that voter concerns about Clinton’s honesty and trustworthiness are among her biggest vulnerabilities.
Hillary Clinton speaks to members of the media aboard her campaign plane in White Plains, N.Y., on September 6.
“It’s also clear from the Federal Bureau of Investigation report that Hillary Clinton and her top aides knowingly destroyed evidence and covered-up their actions”. “The sequence of events leading up to the destruction of Secretary Clinton’s emails… raises questions about whether Secretary Clinton, acting through her attorneys, instructed PRN to destroy records relevant to the then-ongoing congressional investigations”.
Clinton’s lawyers said they couldn’t provide any of the mobile devices she used.
“In looking back at our investigations into mishandling or removal of classified information, we can not find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts”, Comey said at the time.
“There’s a difference between something that’s not criminal and something that’s still unacceptable to people”, she said.
“I went into the State Department understanding classification”.
She directed her aides to create her private e-mail account but said she had no knowledge of why a private server was installed in the basement of her NY home or how it was secured. Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said: “This is yet another example of the congressman abusing his office by wasting further taxpayer resources on partisan attacks”.

“Unsurprisingly, none of Clinton’s aides could recall details around the initial setup of Clinton’s secret server or whether or not Clinton asked for permission to use a private email account for State Department business”, states the RNC in a press release.
