Rep. Joyce Beatty Steals Melania Trump’s Look At The DNC
So, who wore it better? Instead this is what we have: Melania Trump, wife of Donald Trump and potential first lady; and Joyce Beatty, a Democratic congresswoman from Ohio.

The former model’s $2190 Roksanda Ilincic dress, which she bought herself on Net-a-Porter, sold out quickly on the site after her address.
On Thursday night at the Democratic convention, OH congresswoman Beatty hit the stage in a white dress that looked remarkably similar to something we saw at the Republican convention last week.

It’s definitely a fashion faux pas to consciously wear the same outfit as another person in the spotlight, but Beatty had no shame rocking the ivory-hued frock – and we think she gave Trump a run for her money.
At least she wrote her own remarks, she noted. She didn’t mention Melania, but if Twitter is any indicator, she didn’t need to.

Judging from the fuss last week about Trump’s speech, I’m just going to call it right now and say that Beatty wins this one while throwing some political shade.
