King wanted to make sure no viewers were confused by the jokes that the MSNBC hosts were making about his feelings regarding Cruz.
“The Trump campaign wants to distract from the real issues”, Cruz said. He said frontrunner Donald Trump needs to show “he has some comprehension of what’s going on in the world” and that he’s “not just the guy at the end of the bar, throwing in remarks”.
On the Republican side, front-runner Donald Trump offered his biggest campaign loan yet: $11.5 million. All of this noise and complaining and whining has come from the Trump campaign because they don’t like the fact that they’ve lost five elections in a row. “I’d like to talk longer, but I’ve got a fish sandwich to eat”, Kasich said.
Kalmbach, Kasich’s spokesperson, said the campaign is “confident that we have more delegates than Cruz or Trump” in Indiana. Both of them have strong NY ties, as Clinton represented the state in the U.S. Senate and Sanders was born and raised in Brooklyn.
“I believe that everyone is made special”, the OH governor told the gathering of about 500 people during a wide-ranging town hall-style meeting Monday at the Schenectady Armory where he tackled topics including illegal immigration and free trade.
Frank Franklin II/AP Donald Trump speaks at a campaign event Sunday, April 17, 2016, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. “So, if I ask you, Senator, a legitimate question to explain to the audience, why don’t you just answer it?”
And in Washington, the Trump campaign sent out an email to their Washington supporters.
Campaigning is over, and residents of the 12th Congressional District have chosen Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.
“All this stuff about free stuff would be great”, he said, arguing that it would raise the federal debt to $30 trillion.
Trusted Leadership PAC, the predominant super PAC backing Cruz, reported taking in $4.5 million, the bulk of it coming from other super PACs and a pair of seven-figure donations.
