Police are responding to a call of reported shots fired in JFK Airport Sunday night.
Terminal 8 was being evacuated by ESU and passengers were taking cover outside cement traffic barriers.
A journalist at the airport in terminal eight, Dan Archer, said police wouldn’t say anything except “it’s not safe to stay here”.
ABC News reported there was no “active shooter situation”.
According to police scanner reports and witnesses, police were focusing on Terminal 8, in the American Airlines departures area.
“If you’re forgetting anything it’s not worth your life, everyone move now!” one officer yelled.
