A search is under way for a 3-month-old girl who was in a white Chevrolet Impala that was stolen this morning on Detroit’s east side.
Police Chief James Craig says officers are looking for three suspects in theft of the vehicle, with MI license plate CPG8598, which remains missing. “I do not know what my daughter is going through right now”, said the women who asked to be referred as Mary. However, she said she is trying to keep a level head until she learns everything that happened.

Michigan State and Detroit police are looking for a stolen auto with a three-month-old baby inside. The father offered a detailed description of the vehicle, a 2006 Chevy Impala with the MI license plate CPG-8598. The driver’s side rear bumper has damage and the trunk does not close completely. The driver’s side rear tail light is also broken out with red tape.
