Republican Candidate Ben Carson Returns Praise To Kanye West
Carson said: ‘I did have an opportunity to talk with him. Dr. Ben Carson is the latest candidate to weigh in on Kanye’s Presidential chances, and surprisingly, he’s fairly receptive to the notion of a theoretical President Yeezy. “He knows a lot about business”. I would be like ‘I want to work with you.’ As soon as I heard [Ben] Carson speak, I tried for three weeks to get on the phone with him.

It looks like Kanye West’s dream of electoral politics bringing candidates together rather than setting them against each other might not be so far-fetched after all.
Carson recently sparked controversy after claiming a Muslim does not belong in the White House because Islam is “inconsistent” with the U.S. Constitution. We’ll see. He’ll be able to explain things and see if he resonates with the people. “I think all the people running right now have something that each of the others needs”.
Carson said he was impressed with West’s “business acumen” and even sounded open to the prospect of a West presidential bid, when asked about it by host ABC Martha Raddatz.
Now, having said that, it was all anyone could talk about after the event so perhaps West is #winning on all accounts. “What I would like somebody to show me is an approved Islamic text that opposes Sharia”.
Time reports that the appreciation for West goes both ways, as the rapper apparently came clean in an interview with Vanity Fair, telling the publication that he feels Carson was “the most brilliant guy”.
Carson also said that he talked with West.

MSNBC reported Carson’s beliefs about keeping a Muslim out of the oval office were reiterated, but his beliefs were clarified in which he thinks any person of any faith should have a shot at becoming the United States president. Carson was up 10 points since the last NBC/WSJ poll in July.
