Republican congressman to vote for Clinton

As Obama condemned Trump, the Republican candidate – apparently unaware of the president’s remarks – repeatedly criticized his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, and the president in an hour of remarks.

Even though some other Republicans in the House have refused to endorse the Republican nominee Donald Trump, so far none of the others have promised to cross the aisle and vote for his Democratic rival on November 8.

“I saw that and felt incensed”, Hanna said.

“The framework of this election favors Donald Trump”. “All citizens must be equal before the state”.

But in what appeared to be an effort to soothe ruffled feelings, Trump’s vice presidential running mate, Mike Pence, said on Wednesday he endorsed Ryan as “a strong conservative leader” and was doing so with Trump’s blessing.

The father of the martyred soldier paid rich tribute to the martyrs and soldiers of Pakistan through Dunya News.

Neither departure – Hanna’s nor Bradshaw’s – necessarily signals faltering support among voters drawn to Trump in part because of his strident rhetoric and willingness to eschew political decorum in favor of a tough stance on immigration and national defense. He closed by telling Republicans that while they may disagree with his choice to vote for Secretary Clinton, that they could “live to win or lose another day with a real candidate”.

In another interview, he warned that Trump will hand Clinton the election unless he changes tack.

A Republican congressional aide said there was deep frustration on Capitol Hill that Trump keeps engaging in “petty spats”.

“I think that’s probably right”, he acknowledged.

“To my Republican friends: I know I’m not alone”. Zach Roday, a Ryan campaign spokesman, said the speaker hasn’t asked for Trump’s endorsement and is “confident in a victory next week regardless”. Trump and some other Republicans have described the money as ransom payment for four Americans detained in Iran days before the money was delivered.

Khizr Khan, standing on stage with his wife Ghazala, gave a moving speech during the Democratic National Convention last week, in which he criticized Trump for sowing division and smearing minorities. “Let me just say flatly, I am totally for John McCain, who is a great war hero and a terrific human being, who has worked very hard for veterans”.

Yet few candidates leave a convention only to see support among their bases splinter: “At this point, a Republican needs to have 90 to 95 percent of the Republican base united behind him, and that hasn’t happened”, Wrenn said.

Several senior USA officials involved in the Iran negotiations said they weren’t aware of any such video. And her decision is only bolstered by Trump’s campaign rhetoric: “If this is where the nominee-who was for abortion before it was politically expedient, who is a racist and a misogynist, who wants to carpet bomb the Middle East and ban Muslims, wants to take the party-then I want nothing to do with it”, she wrote.

The bump for Clinton followed the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia last week at which Clinton and her supporters painted an optimistic portrait of America, and came amid controversy over Trump’s comments about the parents of a slain Muslim US soldier. Trump delivered a political bodycheck to two famous Republicans who’ve been slightly critical of him: McCain and House Speaker Paul Ryan.

Trump is in the lead among whites by 10 points (49-39 percent), men by 5 (45-40 percent), white evangelical Christians by 50 (69-19 percent), and whites without a college degree by 16 (52-36 percent), according to the poll.
