Republican debate finds Donald Trump driving the conversation to the negative

Donald and Megyn will face off for another round of political hardball as she joins Bret Baier, 45, and Chris Wallace, 68, to moderate the March 3 debate from the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.

Trump also reminded voters that he had supported Romney in that race, at the candidate’s behest.

The 11th republican presidential debate will be available on multiple platforms.

The Fox News Channel-sponsored debate began as a free-for-all fracas with tension mounting over Trump’s ascendancy and his drive to become the presumptive nominee should he win nominating contests in Florida and OH on March 15.

Trump won seven states in the Super Tuesday contests this week, far more than any of his rivals for the nomination.

Mitt Romney, as expected, delivered a scathing speech against Donald Trump on Thursday, issuing a Republican call to arms and asking voters to “make the right choice” and vote for anyone but the brash businessman.

“This little guy has lied so much”, Trump sneered, mocking Rubio’s stature.

“He says his candidacy”, was an embarrassment to everybody” including the Republican Party and that Romney is only looking to be relevant.

Ohio Governor John Kasich didn’t deny that he’s essentially campaigning to try to force a brokered Republican National Convention in July.

John Kasich sought to turn Trump’s statement on the value of “flexibility” into a character question.

Thursday’s debate was the first time he faced questioning from Kelly since the two clashed in the first primary debate.

Trump has fiercely attacked Kelly since the first Fox-hosted debate last summer, during which she famously confronted him over disparaging comments he’s made about women. Ted Cruz was strong, but Mr Rubio had the detail – he had done his homework.
