AP reporter Julie Pace on Wednesday night predicted Hillary Clinton’s comment that problems with the VA are overblown will continue to follow the candidate as she navigates through the Democratic primary and into the general election, should she get the nomination.

“What I’d say to the 330 million people of America is grab onto your wallet because Hillary Clinton’s next move is to have universal health care, single-payer system with the government taking over the whole health care system”, he said. Chief among them is the ongoing crisis at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

That has drawn the outrage of conservatives, who accused her, Democrats and the media of a double standard, especially because Republicans have been criticized for not distancing themselves from questioners who make incendiary remarks. 58 percent of Sanders supporters had not made a final decision, while a majority (54 percent) of Clinton supporters said their minds were completely made up, indicating that they would definitely be voting for Clinton.

Now, political event or not, it’s just not amusing to say you want to strangle a woman, it’s gross, so this was the wrong human reaction.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill later told a CNN reporter, “You were there”. And when I started citing her resume, the audience did not like that’.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC), meanwhile, has denied that it is trying to solidify Clinton’s lead by scheduling its debates in time slots that lead to relatively poor viewership, Vox reported.
