Republican Financier Koch: Clinton Might Make Better President Than GOP Pick

“These personal attacks and pitting one person against the other – that’s the message you’re sending the country”, Koch said in an exclusive interview with ABC News that aired Sunday. “But as far as the growth in government, the increase in spending, it was two and a half times” more under Republican George W. Bush than it was under Clinton, Koch said in an interview for ABC’s “This Week”. Further, he and his brother plan to sit out the fight for the nomination.

“It’s hard to find somebody in politics with the courage to go against what’s popular and do what they believe will help people improve their lives”, Koch said.

“What was worse was this: ‘We’ll have them all register.’ That’s reminiscent of Nazi Germany”, said Koch. “I mean, that’s monstrous”. “We haven’t put a penny in any of these campaigns, pro or con”.

Koch held a slightly less dim view of a Cruz promise to carpet-bomb areas of the Middle East under Isis control.

As for the American political system, Koch said he and his brother “would like to get the money out” despite the hundreds of millions his political network Freedom Partners have pumped into Republican campaigns over the past decade.

It’s a nightmare scenario for Republicans, but conservative billionaire Charles Koch says “it’s possible” Hillary Clinton could make a better president than the remaining candidates in the GOP primary. “So now, I don’t know how we could support them”.
