Republican lawmaker says he will vote for Hillary Clinton
The Democratic and Republican conventions last month didn’t produce a ton of fresh education policy talk-but the respective nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump still gave us some more K-12 material to work with.

Trump’s reckless and uninformed positions on critical issues – from immigration to our economy to foreign policy – have made it abundantly clear that he lacks both the policy depth and sound judgment required as President.
Rep. Richard Hanna of NY became the first Republican in Congress to say he would vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in November.
Hanna has served as congressman from NY since 2011 and previously announced plans to retire in December when his third term ends.
Pushing back on reports that there is chaos in the Republican, Trump said the party was united. And, while 35 percent had a more favorable view of the Republican Party after the GOP convention, a full 52 percent said they were less favorable towards the Party.
“It just seems that he’s hell-bent on losing a very winnable presidential election against a seriously-flawed candidate in Hillary Clinton”, said Rep. Charlie Dent (Pa. -15).
With this Ms Clinton returned to her June lead margin.
At the end of her statement Whitman said other Republicans ought to do the same: “I urge all Republicans to reject Donald Trump this November”.

It’s the first time that Fox News has polled the two presidential tickets against each other, indicating Clinton’s Virginia running mate may be faring better with unsure voters than Trump’s Midwestern pick.
“Trump who likes to complain about polls that don’t show him winning, he’s called the CNN poll phony”. It is still surprising that a Democratic presidential candidate would carry Arizona if the election were held today.

While the Fox numbers are bad news for Trump, it’s not all good for Clinton.
