Republican Party says complaints over delegates ‘distracting’
As with the previous version of this sketch, when Fallon dressed as Trump to speak with Hillary Clinton, the late-night host lobbed questions at his political guest with the hope of providing some pre-interview pointers.

The biggest beneficiary of that strategy figures to be Trump’s chief rival, Texas Sen.
His supporters are examining how to sweep the delegates in Arkansas, a state Trump won, when they are picked next month.
“I appreciate you being the bigger man”, Cruz said, setting up Fallon’s Trump response: “Oh, I’m the bigger man. With the bigger hands”.
In a private meeting on Capitol Hill, Trump aide Ed Brookover laid out a bullish road map for Trump to win by healthy margins in the upcoming primary states, starting in NY on Tuesday and concluding with a victory in California’s June primary.
Ten Republican candidates who are seeking Wyoming’s open seat in the U.S. House will also speak on Saturday. “But this electorate is incredibly engaged, and we think that New Yorkers fully understand that (Carson) is backing Donald Trump”. “And Reince Priebus should be ashamed of himself”, the GOP candidate said just hours before his CNN town hall appearance.
Even if he doesn’t reach 1,237 delegates before the GOP convention, Trump is expected to arrive in Cleveland with more delegates than either Cruz or Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
Could Donald Trump win the GOP nomination with 1100 delegates?
But Trump continues to lead in every demographic group in the NY poll, and his fans remain the most enthusiastic block of voters, with seven-in-ten saying they strongly support him.
The state party is waiting until the delegates have been certified by the Republican National Committee before releasing their names, a process that could take two weeks.
NBC Ted Cruz and Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” Thursday.
But he said he does not believe that Cruz will fare well in NY, predicting that Trump will snare a minimum of 85 – and possibly all 95 – of the state’s delegates.

“I won those elections fair and square”, Cruz said. As of Friday, Trump had 743 delegates compared to 545 for Cruz.
