Republican Presidential Debate: What does Governor Walker need to do?
Walker, a current candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, was never charged and always maintained he did nothing wrong.

On Wednesday, prosecutors filed into the court record a 2011 request for a search warrant that was part of the investigation.
The state Supreme Court ended the investigation into Walker’s 2012 recall campaign and more than two dozen conservative groups on July 16, saying they had not violated campaign finance laws by working closely together.
The courtroom data turned public, on the eve of the primary Republican presidential debate, as a part of a civil lawsuit introduced by former Walker aide Cindy Archer.
The wide-ranging inquiry resulted in charges and convictions of six Walker aides and associates for matters that included campaigning using taxpayer resources and stealing from a veterans fund. Prosecutors did not ultimately charge anyone over the real estate deal, and they shut down the probe in March 2013. “It’s one other instance of the politics concerned on this course of as individuals who couldn’t show issues in a courtroom of regulation are trying to win within the courtroom of public opinion”.
The bill called for $250 million in combined contributions from the state of Wisconsin and the city and county of Milwaukee over the next two decades, the Journal-Sentinel reported. That rejection set up the need for a later deal “against the interests of Milwaukee County”, the warrant said.
The second investigation, like the first John Doe probe, was secret and numerous court filings have not been publicly released.
Hiller and Jensen were also not charged in the investigation.
Walker has said during his presidential campaign that he opposes “amnesty” for immigrants living in the U.S. illegally.
Despite his constant denials, Governor Scott Walker was indeed under criminal investigation in 2011 for an office-leasing contract when he was the Milwaukee County executive.
“People in Wisconsin and across the country deserve answers from Governor Walker on why law enforcement officials had probable cause to believe he committed felonies”, Wisconsin Democratic Party spokeswoman Melissa Baldauff said.
