Republican race all but over
A Fox News poll conducted in mid-April found Trump with 41%, compared to Cruz’s 33%.

Ted Cruz is speaking confidently about knocking off Donald Trump to take the GOP nomination, but his top staffers admit they’re getting nervous.
Cruz’s polls show he is not trailing Trump in IN as badly as he was right after dropping five more states late last month, but his supporters are increasingly skeptical about their prospects in Indiana.
Cruz predicted that Clinton would easily defeat Trump in a hypothetical match-up in the November election, but declined to disavow support for him if he wins the Republican nomination.
Indiana, a winner-take-most state with 57 delegates on offer, is the largest of any state until the California primary on June 7.
And it wouldn’t mathematically eliminate Cruz from winning on the first ballot, because that’s already happened.
A number of states have passed laws that demand a person only use the toilet designated for the gender of their birth rather than how they identify. Cruz supporters dominated the party’s convention on Saturday at James Madison University in Harrisonburg.
Trump told CNN, “I haven’t started on Hillary yet” – although actually he’s been trashing her record for quite some time.
A handful of surveys were completed after Cruz announced Carly Fiorina would be his vice presidential pick if he won the Republican nomination, Downs said.
An endorsement from Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who is taking a risk in bucking the party’s front-runner.
Yet it is unclear whether any of this will be enough to allow Mr Cruz to beat the thrice-married reality TV host he is facing off against.
On Sunday, Cruz frustrated journalist Chuck Todd by skirting the question as to whether he would support Trump as the GOP nominee.
Cruz called Trump “the essence of the Washington insider”. An average of polls collated by Real Clear Politics puts Mr Trump on 39 points, ahead of Mr Cruz on 35 and Mr Kasich on 17.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign says she raised about $26 million in April for her primary race against Bernie Sanders, as her rival’s fundraising juggernaut slowed.
At the same party convention that was the backdrop for chaotic protests against Trump Friday, Cruz tried to woo party members with support for their longtime issues, such as lower taxes and a harder line on immigration.
“America is stronger when we are all supporting one another”, she has said in a campaign ad. But, he added, “We’re ready if it gets voted down”. We went under a fence and through a fence. However, Trump’s supporters statewide who were unaware of the convention are still upset.
Cruz continued, “When we arrive in Cleveland, I’m going to have a bunch of delegates”.
“Donald Trump was here yesterday, and he was telling you it’s over”, Fiorina said.

“I have a lot of experience dealing with men who sometimes get off the reservation in the way they behave and how they speak”, she said, going on to criticize a talk Trump gave this week, billed as his first major foreign policy speech.
