The Wisconsin Republican primary elections will be held on August 9.
Pence also defended a military mom’s right to criticize Trump’s controversial comments about the Muslim parents of a slain U.S. Army veteran.
The inner tension comes as Priebus and handful of high-profile Trump allies consider whether to confront the candidate directly to encourage a new approach following a series of startling stances and statements.
Donald Trump’s campaign manager said “there’s conflict within the Trump campaign” over the Republican nominee not endorsing the House speaker, but that Trump will eventually support Paul Ryan in the election because his opponent won’t win the primary.
“Of course he’s gonna work with Paul Ryan, of course he’s trying to bridge the party with Paul Ryan”, Manafort said on ABC’s Good Morning America Thursday.

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) hinted Thursday that his endorsement of the hate-spewing GOP nominee, does, in fact, have limits and that he wouldn’t be afraid to withdraw in the future.
Trump has advocated a harsher approach, suggesting he’d be open to drastically increasing the number of United States ground troops while ramping up a bombing campaign.

Even if he is, Trump appears to be rubbing some Republicans the wrong way. I’m doing very well in New Hampshire.
Clinton, meanwhile, kept up her assault on Trump’s business practices, holding up a Trump-branded tie as she spoke at the Knotty Tie Company in battleground Colorado.
Ryan told CNN’s Jake Tapper something similar in May, saying he couldn’t yet support Trump.
His father, Khizr Khan, denounced Trump during the Democratic National Convention for his proposal to ban Muslims from the U.S. and questioned whether Trump had read the U.S. Constitution.
Indeed, Trump on Wednesday reported raising $80 million in July for his campaign and the Republican Party.

“In recent days, Donald Trump disparaged a fallen soldier’s parents”, said McCain. “But I will do this because I feel like I have to in order to defend Republicans and our principles, so people don’t make the mistake of thinking we think like that”. Trump and some other Republicans have described the money as ransom payment for four Americans detained in Iran days before the money was delivered. The aide said congressional offices that support Trump got two sets of talking points on Monday from the campaign about the Khan situation but have not heard anything from the campaign about Trump’s Ryan comments. He began August with $37 million in his campaign account.
