Republicans Fight for New Hampshire

Starting at the stroke of midnight, when a handful of small towns opened their polls, tens of thousands of New Hampshire voters cast ballots Tuesday, choosing their favorites among the pack of Republicans and Democrats who hope to one day be president.

Tonight New Hampshire residents will go to the polls in the first Primary of this election season. “But I’m also somebody who knows we gotta think about how we’re going to get the changes we need”. The winners will gain momentum heading into the next contests in the more diverse SC and Nevada states.

Marco Rubio’s uneven debate performance just days before the pivotal New Hampshire primary has emboldened a trio of governors seeking to stem his rise in the Republican race for president.

“So I just want to tell you right now, ma’am, you’re reprimanded, OK?”

The enmity was mutual.

When put against Republican front-runner Donald Trump, Clinton held a 5-percent lead over the billionaire at 45 percent and 40 percent respectively.

Trump commands a 15-point edge over his nearest competition in the NBC News/Survey Monkey poll released Tuesday.

Trump did get in a shot at Cruz during a massive rally in Manchester Monday night.

Both Trump and Cruz have been getting into a war of words following last week’s Iowa caucus.

Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler responded via email, saying: “Let’s not forget who whipped who in Iowa”.

Before Saturday’s debate, many people were expecting the GOP field post-New Hampshire to be a three-man race – Trump, Ted Cruz and Rubio.

Ted Cruz trails Rubio with 13%, while John Kasich has 11% and Jeb Bush is holding 10%.

Mr Bush’s campaign debuted a new advert questioning Mr Kasich’s conservative credentials, while an outside group backing Mr Rubio ran an ad assailing Mr Bush. It didn’t help that Rubio repeated the same line three times as Christie drilled him.

As the New Hampshire campaign comes to a close, a super PAC supporting Sen. In the two-person race for the Democratic nomination, Sanders has held an advantage over Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire for weeks. Behind Clinton’s upbeat demeanor, however, are growing concerns within her campaign about her standing with young people, who are flocking to Sanders.

Mrs Clinton, who is backed by the Democratic establishment, narrowly won in Iowa.
