Republicans outraged over reported delay of Clinton meeting schedules

Trump tweeted Friday: “How quickly people forget that Crooked Hillary called African-American youth “SUPER PREDATORS” – Has she apologized?” Now the Desi woman of mixed Indian-Pakistani heritage threatens to cast a long shadow on Clinton’s presidential ambitions.

In an NPR interview, Clinton Foundation President Donna Shalala says reorganizing would take time and “that kind of unraveling has to be done with a scalpel so that we just do not hurt people, and do not interrupt the very good work that’s being done”.

At the same time, Clinton said, “winding down some of these programs takes time” and that to do anything abrupt could imperil HIV/AIDS programs and other assistance that benefits millions of people around the world.

Another email released by conservative watchdog Judicial Watch shows that Clinton even delayed a plane for a 15-minute meeting with Sim Daniel Abraham, founder of Slim-Fast line of diet products, who gave $5 million to $10 million to the family charity. At least the Clinton donations go to charity; donations to political campaigns have a far less noble and far more self-interested goal.

But the Manhattan mogul who himself was among at least 40 who donated $100,000 each told NH1 News he didn’t do so to seek access and a favour from Hillary Clinton. She dodged the question, saying that if she becomes president there would be “unique circumstances”, and when pressed how that was different-why there weren’t “unique circumstances” when she was secretary of state-she answered, “I know there’s a lot of smoke and there’s no fire”. “And if I hadn’t made that contribution, they probably wouldn’t have liked me at all”. Drawing a conclusion that she met with people like Wiesel, Gates and Yunus because of their foundation connections, rather than their status as global leaders, “is absurd”, Clinton said.

But is giving to the Clinton Foundation tantamount to a bribe?

Mrs. Clinton’s problem-as we now know from this week’s release of emails from Huma Abedin’s private Clinton-server account-was that there was no divide between public and private. “There’s a bunch of burn stuff in the pocket of my front seat”.

Calling Werthein a “great friend” and “big supporter”, Band asked Abedin to deliver a message to the USA ambassador to Malta on behalf of Werthein. Jiloty told Abedin she would. After delays, the outlet sued the State Department for the records. Under the agreement, she promised she would annually disclose the names of all donors to the charity and that it would seek State Department approval before accepting new money from foreign governments.

“Clinton critics have not proven that Clinton or the State Department materially granted any favors to possible donors, but the report and other emerging information is reigniting the firestorm over the foundation”, writes Theodore Schleifer in, “Trump, RNC Seize on new report to attack Clinton Foundation” for CNN.

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign fired back Wednesday after a major Associated Press report raised serious ethical questions over ties between the State Department under Clinton and her family’s charitable organization, with Clinton’s team arguing that the AP data was woefully out of context. It doesn’t bother me. The reality TV show star’s ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin are so obvious that interference by the Kremlin in the fall elections isn’t just some weird conspiracy theory – whether through computer hacking or public statements by the KGB-trained strongman – it’s already happening.
