Republicans split again over Donal Trump
The assurances came from Donald Trump himself in Daytona Beach, Florida.

“The campaign is doing really well”. He also insisted, “We’ve never been this united”.
But campaign chairman Paul Manafort, speaking Wednesday with Fox News, voiced confidence in the campaign’s position and denied knowledge of any intervention effort.
“It’s like watching a team go out on the field, throw an interception on the first play and go back off the field again”, Gingrich said, referring to the comments and controversies that have roiled Trump’s campaign as of late.
Another source close to the campaign expressed bewilderment over Trump’s fight with Ryan, saying Trump should focus on issues that actually matter to people. He said no such meeting would be necessary, with the exception of “with some media types who keep saying things that aren’t true”.
Since then, a number of Republicans have broken ranks.
Trump was also rebuked by his core allies, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, over his reckless attacks on the slain Muslim-American soldier’s parents.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is “unqualified” to become the U.S. president and the billionaire tycoon has spent his career refusing to pay bills to small businesses, Democrat Hillary Clinton has alleged. In the midst of the uproar over his continued criticism of the Khan family, Trump infuriated Priebus and other party leaders by refusing to endorse GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan’s re-election.
Today, some damage control.
Noting that 35 percent or more of the statewide vote is cast in the city and its suburbs, Madonna said, “You can’t win a state if you lose by big margins in the region where 35 percent of the voters live”.
“I strongly support Paul Ryan, endorse his re-election”.
LISA DESJARDINS: While her running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, introduced himself to North Carolina voters, talking up their plans to aid small business.
“I will be a president for Democrats, Republicans, and independents”.
“The real situation has to do with Trump”, Madonna said of what has caused the national and state polling fluctuation.
LISA DESJARDINS: Well, one of the questions is, what is a mainstream Republican these days?
“To my Republican friends: I know I’m not alone”.
It is expected that Trump has to heavily rely on the Republican Party for fundraising since he lacks the political infrastructure of a conventional political candidate. These are not words that are thrown around in such a place. Ryan has backed Trump despite deep differences on policy and temperament, and has encouraged other Republicans to unite behind the party’s nominee. What do his supporters say? He says this is all a complete disconnect, that the Washington Republican establishment doesn’t get what’s happening on the ground.

Yet Trump’s vice presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, appeared to break with him later in the day during a phone interview with Fox. They’re thinking about their own vacations. “Donald Trump, you are no Ronald Reagan”. That was less than the $90 million Clinton raised along with the national Democratic Party the same month, but it was a substantial bump from his fund-raising in past months. “That would be awful”, he said during a campaign stop in battleground Florida. Super PACs can raise unlimited amounts of money, but aren’t allowed to coordinate with campaigns.
