Republicans urge RNC to stop helping Trump

Why haven’t Fairfield Republicans denounced Donald Trump? That pledge was organized by the Republican National Committee, whose chairman, Reince Priebus, was attending the rally in Erie, Pennsylvania. Priebus replied. “Here’s the difference – Donald Trump and Mike Pence will tell the truth!”

Time Magazine on Thursday reported that RNC Chairman Reince Priebus had threatened to withdraw funding from the Trump campaign, and instead direct it to Congressional campaigns. He tweeted after Trump’s national convention speech that he would “always defend liberty against fear-mongering politicians”. The executive board includes Bruce LeVell (executive director), Pastor Darrell Scott (CEO), special counsel Michael Cohen (co-chairman) and Reverend Omarosa Manigault (co-chairman).

Half say the same of Clinton, a former senator and secretary of state, after unlikely rival Bernie Sanders forced her to fight for the nomination for a year. “We still haven’t finished that work yet, and that’s going to be a real struggle”. Weinstein said the letter signers want this effort to start much earlier. LeVell added that reports of tension between Trump and the RNC were overblown. If he doesn’t, Dedrel said, he’s concerned that Trump is on the way to an Election Day defeat.

The RNC also announced that Leah Le’Vell, a rising senior at Georgia State University, will serve as the African American Initiatives and Urban Media Fellow. “We want to be a resource to the coalition”.

Trump was in Florida for campaign rallies and to raise money. Even the latest poll by the right-leaning Fox News network showed her with a substantial 10-point lead – 49 to 39 per cent – over Mr Trump. The competitive Nevada race may hinge on turnout by anti-Trump Latino voters, who could boost Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto into office. But over the previous year, Trump has shown no particular interest in weaving his campaign into the intricate demographic tapestry of the American electorate.

“You can’t control this candidate”, said LeVell. It’s aimed squarely at them, to reassure them that the RNC is fully behind its nominee.

Seven in 10 say they don’t know enough about Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson to have an opinion about him, and almost 8 in 10 say the same about Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

He then pivoted to a broader critique of her trade policies. “It’s not the 16 million people”.

The Republican nominee recalled moments in his youth when he’d play with blocks near his father’s desk while the elder Trump brokered deals.

One other note about the LA Times poll, since we’ll probably hear it cited a lot in the weeks to come as a hopeful outlier from the other national surveys. Remember, Mitt Romney eagerly accepted a Trump endorsement in 2012, knowing full well that he was welcoming a racist conspiracy theorist into his camp. The Justice Department, “also charged that the company had required different rental terms and conditions because of race and that it had misrepresented to blacks that apartments were not available”. Russ Feingold, and Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire, facing Gov. Maggie Hassan.

Trump’s track record for filing for bankruptcy under the federal codes has also drawn criticism. And I’ll be here to help rebuild it, long after Trump has moved on to selling more steaks or ties or reverse mortgages.

The sub headline says, “Clown comes back to life with N.H. win as mindless zombies turn out in droves”. “A poor man will listen to a rich man, if it relates to how you can lift yourself up”.

Pope Francis said on February 18 that Trump “is not Christian” if he calls for the deportation of undocumented immigrants and pledges to build a wall between the United States and Mexico.
