Rescue ends after building collapse kills 17 in central China

At least 17 people were killed while 23 others got seriously injured when a two-storey building that was being renovated collapsed in Central China, officials said on Saturday.

Several people thought to be responsible in the collapse were taken into police custody after the 1990s-era building collapsed on Friday afternoon.
