Resident Evil 2 Remake Isn’t A Remaster – Capcom
From the many Resident Evil games released, this one is my favorite and I can’t wait to see Leon and Claire back in action again.

Rumor has it that a remaster of Resident Evil 6 is also being worked on, but fans look more interested to know about Resident Evil 7.
Capcom has confirmed that the upcoming Resident Evil 2 will be a remake, and not a remaster. Whether Capcom choose to deviate from the events of RE2 will likely remain under wraps for a good while yet. Resident Evil 2 Reborn was impressively built using Unreal Engine 4 and featured the over-the-shoulder camera, which the RE franchised has utilized since Resident Evil 4.
Confirmation follows speculation that the game could just be a basic up-port after Capcom referred to it as a “remastered version of Resident Evil 2” in its latest financial report. The most recent Resident Evil re-release was a remaster of the first game in the series. He took to Twitter to inform fans that it will be a remake. Although Capcom shut the team down, they invited the indie group to meet and discuss the project.

While the game was announced in August, details are still being kept under wraps.
