Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour is the first hands-on look of the new game’s style.
It releases in January 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
If zisforzombies’s logic is to be followed, perhaps Resident Evil 7 will include a demo of some sort for Resident Evil 2 Remake.
In fact, it may be because of P.T. that people still haven’t given up when it comes to finding a secret ending in the Resident Evil VII demo.
Biohazard made its VR debut during E3 2016 this week, Capcom also put out an exclusive demo on PlayStation 4 for those who weren’t fortunate enough to try the VR demo at E3.
Resident Evil 7 won’t be a reboot and is still set within same universe as previous games. As its name suggests, the demo is just a showing of the new design for Resident Evil but isn’t included in the real game. Playstation Lifestyle reported that there will still be an combat element to the title, but it will not be like the recent “Resident Evil” games.
When Kawata was asked to compare Resident Evil 7 with other horror games, such as Outlast or Amnesia, he said that both of them are great experiences, but he added that he felt frustrated because he couldn’t get a weapon in order to feel powerful enough to strike back when needed.
Resident Evil 7 is almost halfway done with development.
Screams of joy quickly turned to screams of fright for some gaming enthusiasts when they played a virtual reality demonstration from the popular “Resident Evil” video game franchise at this week’s E3 convention in Los Angeles.

The game was always meant to be played from the first-person perspective, according to Capcom. There will be fewer but more impactful enemy encounters, with a possible new threat instead of zombies. Kawata joked that one of the connections is that there will be herbs in the game, which is one of the long-standing items in the franchise.
