Resource Doubling Exploit Arrives For No Man’s Sky
During my playthrough of No Man’s Sky, I was very much lost in the beginning. This isn’t a universe to be consumed but rather one to explore, to move through at your own pace and decide on your own goals, whether that’s reaching the centre or just cruising around in search of some unusual looking animals.

What’s at the center of the galaxy? The question to sake is if you’ve been on the fence about grabbing NMS, would a drop to $47.99 push you over? However you can increase the number of slots by searching for Signal Scanners and hack them by crafting Bypass Chips.
Once players have their hyperdrive, they will need a Warp Cell to get it running. And hey, you don’t even have to follow the Atlas path in the first place. The guide highlights the need of crafting and activating the spaceships’ hyperdrive.
To jump from one system to another, you need a ship with hyperdrive. Both Aluminum and Thamium9 can be found by shooting asteroids in space and breaking them apart.
Antimatter can be purchased from NPCs merchants or at Trade Terminals. A true sense of objective takes over, and travelling onward to a space station to buy, sell, and craft the necessary parts becomes an important goal. The cost of each Exosuit upgrade rises in increments of 10,000 units, though this is a small price to pay to bulk up your storage space. It’s basically used to buy everything in the game, be it the items that you would need to craft or buying some important gadget from a dealer or may be buy elements such as Carbon, Zinc, Thagmium, Plutonium and Aluminum. It is a random blueprint, so check outposts and other civilized locations often. This typically involves a more detailed look at each system requiring you to memorize the way their markets operate… but it nearly always yields a much greater payout in the end.
In order to upgrade the hyperdrive, players will need to acquire a Warp Reactor V1.
Search smoking wreckage of technology on any planet’s surface.
Stop at every Space Station you see and talk to the alien faction NPCs. By allowing their character to fall in combat, they can then take advantage of the exploit and double up on any items that are already in their possession.
Before we get to the video, know that although No Man’s Sky is not a story-heavy game, there are obviously SPOILERS AHEAD. Duh. The goal here is to find a system that pays highly for an item that another system sells below the galactic average so that you can make a hefty profit and pay to keep your ship afloat through the journey. The thing is that I seem to be able to switch back and forth, taking advantage of what Nada offers, before returning to Atlas’ path or continuing on my own merry way. We won’t spoil it here, but there is a difference. It can store 500 units of common substances instead of 250 which is ideal for keeping more of what you need.
Hold onto your Atlas Stones. Knowledge stones are very helpful, as they grant players “knowledge” of that world’s lingo, which is similar to finding plaques around the planet.
The next method is a little more time-consuming, with it requiring you to improve your relationship status with an alien species. While you won’t have control over your flight path, you will always appear somewhere closer to the center of the galaxy. Don’t be stupid, and be careful with how you use the jetpack. Here’s how it works. If you choose that option, though, the game never takes you through the process of building the contraption yourself, and you never pick up the blueprint.
Load a previous save file. It’s only a few seconds, but when you’re surrounded by drones, all attacking you, those few seconds can be all the difference between life and death.
Turn one Atlas Stone / Warp Cell into 2, then 4, then 8, and so on.
