Responding to Trump, Clinton says he has ‘no answers’

It all began from NY where Trump attacked Clinton as a “world-class liar” who had “perfected the politics of personal profit and theft” and lacked the judgment to be America’s first woman commander-in-chief. She referenced Trump’s comments to CBS and in his news conference and said, “I know Donald hates it whenever anybody points out how hollow his sales pitch really is”.

Trump, who prides himself as a counter-puncher, had let that attack pass with a remarkably low-intensity push-back.

Trump’s speech comes amid a tumultuous week for his campaign in which he fired campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and Federal Election Commission reports that showed Trump’s campaign had only $1.3 million in cash on hand compared to Clinton’s $42.5 million war chest.

In his speech, Trump repeated accusations that Clinton’s decisions as America’s top diplomat were influenced by donations to the Clinton Foundation and associated charities.

Rather than rebut the attacks his Democratic opponent made yesterday on his business record, today Trump savaged her past stances on free trade and foreign policy. “As long as Donald Trump can make this election about the untrustworthiness of Hillary Clinton, then he has a very good shot of winning”. “But she doesn’t have the temperament, or, as Bernie Sanders’ said, the judgement, to be president”.

Even as Trump blasted Clinton, he returned to some of the core themes that first powered his surprising presidential campaign. Heading into November, Trump said he was prepared to put in however much of his own money was necessary to emerge victorious in November, these sources said.

“Hillary Clinton may be the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency”, Trump said. And while he attacked the Clinton Foundation’s acceptance of money from repressive foreign countries that enjoyed good relationships with the US during the 1990s and during the former first lady’s stint as secretary of state, Trump neglected to mention he personally donated more than $100,000 to the same organization. Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, has said that accepting such funding is not an endorsement of everything a foreign government does.

Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, praised Republican presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump on Tuesday, according to an article in the Christian Post. Hillary Clinton’s State Department refused them all.

“The Hillary Clinton foreign policy has cost America thousands of lives and trillions of dollars and trillions of dollars and unleashed ISIS across the world”, Mr Trump said.

Trump also attempted to undermine Clinton’s integrity.

Earlier, Clinton received a rousing reception from House Democrats in her first stop on Capitol Hill since clinching the Democratic nomination.

Hours after Trump’s speech, Clinton’s camp sent out an email response, calling it a “litany of hypocritical attacks, nutty conspiracy theories, and outright lies”.
