Return to Arkham confirmed for October; comparison trailer released
Originally, this remaster was set to arrive in July, but Warners decided the game needed a few more months of polish before it could be released.

WB Games has released a trailer that compares Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City on the PlayStation 3 to its PS4 remaster in Return to Arkham.
Batman: Return to Arkham is developed by Virtuos Games and includes Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, both remastered with improved graphics and upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects, and shaders.
Virtuous Games, the studio remastering the two games for “Batman: Return To Arkham”, also remastered “Heavy Rain” for the PlayStation 4. Check it out below.
Rocksteady Games’ titles are also being remastered.
Some gamers were a little bummed that Batman: Arkham Origins wasn’t included in the bundle, but that’s because Rocksteady Games didn’t make that version of the game. It’s a bundle which contains remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
This obviously concerned a number of people, but a delay in late June revitalized their hope that Warner Bros.
Created to showcase how the current-gen ports hold up against their predecessors, there’s also confirmation that Return to Arkham will swoop onto PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 18. Water now reflects an eerie, soft glow from the streetlamps above, and Batman himself looks better than ever.
Batman: Return to Arkham is based on DC’s core Batman license and is rated PEGI-16.
After being delayed indefinitely due to quality concerns, it now has a new October 18 release date for both PS4 and Xbox One.
