Revamped Apple TV: Here’s all you need to know

Gamers will be pleased to hear that Apple is working on a way of letting you continue your iPhone game on your TV screen when you get home. Developers can now write apps for the Apple TV just like they can for the iPhone or iPad.
The function sounds similar to Google’s “OK Google” voice training model, which is inside Google Settings on Android devices, though 9to5Mac said it doesn’t appear to learn a user’s voice to distinguish one person from another.

If you miss a line of dialogue you can ask, “Siri, what did he/she say?” and the Apple TV will automatically skip back a few seconds and turn on subtitles.
“Developers can take advantage of the built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, and the touch surface on the Apple TV Remote to create games and other app experiences that have never been seen on TV before”, Cue explains. By far, Siri integration is looking likely to be the Apple TV’s best feature. It also adds Siri to the TV.
