Reversed birther stance ‘to get on with’ campaign: Donald Trump
The explanation, which he offered in a brief interview with an OH television news reporter, marked the first time the Republican presidential nominee has elaborated on his decision in a published interview. We want to talk about ISIS and get rid of ISIS.

“Well, I just wanted to get on with, I wanted to get on with the campaign”. “We want to talk about bringing jobs back to this area, because you’ve been decimated, so we just wanted to get back on the subject of jobs, military, taking care of our vets, etc”.
Donald Trump said Wednesday that he publicly acknowledged that President Barack Obama was born in the United States because he wants to “get on with the campaign”. We want to talk about the military.
In the two weeks before he asserted that Obama “was born in the United States”, Trump was asked on four separate occasions about his birther views and whether he stood by them – and declined to disavow those views each time, saying simply that he doesn’t “talk about that anymore”. “He only gave 36 second press statement last week to try to change the subject – and it didn’t work”.
Trump offered no apology for the ongoing attacks on Obama and sought to lay blame on Clinton for the so-called “birther” issue. Mr. Trump falsely claimed the birth certificate was a forgery, and even encouraged hackers to break the law in a desperate effort to try to prove his false claims. But there is no excusing Mr. Trump’s attempt to obscure his own history of lying about the nation’s first President of color by accusing anyone else of birtherism.
“There is no record that Clinton herself or anyone within her campaign ever advanced the charge that Obama was not born in the United States”, the website said.
Clinton and Trump will face off in their first of three presidential debates on September 26 at the Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. Trump built his career on a racist lie because he’s a racist and a liar.
In recent national polling, Clinton leads head-to-head match-ups against Trump, with the Democrat holding 45.5 percent support compared to 43.4 percent for the NY businessman, according to averages compiled by RealClear Politics.
