Reward for people for taking accident victims to hospital
In another shocking incident which raises questions on the moral duties of Delhiites, a man bled to death after being hit by a speeding min-truck in west Delhi’s Subhash Nagar on the morning of August 11.

According to reports, the man was native to West Bengal and held jobs as a security guard and an e-rickshaw driver in the capital.
Reportedly, Matibul kept on lying on the road for nearly an hour till the time police were informed.
The victim resided in west Delhi’s Tihar village area with his family. “No one has come forward with any information to help find the culprit so far”.
Several people were caught on CCTV camera as they passed by Matibul’s body.
The CCTV footage of the accident shows the driver of a tempo coming out and checking his vehicle if it has been damaged or not while ignoring the accident victim and then fleeing away. What is more appalling is that one of them even went near him to steal his mobile phone, police said. Matibool died due to excessive bleeding, and doctors declared him brought dead, when the police team rushed him to a nearby hospital.
The whole incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed near Meraj cinema in Subhash Nagar.
The incident took place when Matibul, a father of four, was walking towards his home in Tihar village after work.

Efforts are being made to identify the driver of the van who hit the deceased, they said.
