According to radio communications, law enforcement chased the vehicle south on Green Bay Road toward the Illinois state line.
An earlier email from Beth said that Obregon was believed to have carjacked a Chevrolet Spark in the area of his parent’s home in the Town of Brighton. They say he was injured – but would not detail the injuries.
The 33-year-old Obregon is considered a suspect in the death of 37-year-old Tywon Anderson, who was found dead September 26th along County Highway A in Paris Township.
While a fugitive, he was believed to have stolen several cars, burglarized a convenience store and robbed a gas station at gunpoint. He has been named as a “person of interest” in the Anderson homicide. Police said that truck was used during a chase the next day in the area of 240th Avenue and 18th Street in Kenosha.
