Rex Ryan admits to trolling people about LeSean McCoy’s status

Bills head coach Rex Ryan admitted to jerking the chain of opponents on New York’s WFAN Sports Radio on Wednesday. The Bills have given more consideration to resting McCoy, who has been fighting through a nagging hamstring injury since training camp. Sammy Watkins and John Miller both left Buffalo’s Week 3 game in Miami in the first half with calf and groin injuries.

This Sunday will be a huge test for the New York Giants.

“I know emotionally he wants to get back out there and that’s gonna be the hardest part, controlling your emotions, ” Beason said.

“I’m good. Stuff will happen, but you have to focus on your job”, he said. Hamstring injuries have been known to linger, and it remains to be seen how long it will in McCoy’s case. “But it will be fun once we get everybody about 100 percent”. He actually has more rushing yards (186) than McCoy (146) through three games, despite less playing time. He also had seven receptions and a touchdown to his credit, meaning fantasy football owners that had him on the active roster weren’t exactly struggling. Williams can still be productive but after years of having to face McCoy the Giants would not mind missing him.

The Jets, in their first overseas regular-season game, will try to bounce back against an already discombobulated Miami team.

Ryan said Monday he will consider resting McCoy if the Bills’ medical staff recommends that.

“We’re working hard to block the run consistently”, Coughlin said.

Rookie runningback Karlos Williams is expected to receive the majority of snaps if McCoy is to indeed miss this matchup. Aaron Williams and Marquise Goodwin are questionable while LeSean McCoy is doubtful.

I’ll take the home team and lay the touchdown. He played in the first two regular-season games and seemed OK, even gaining 89 yards against the Patriots in Week 2.
