Rex Tillerson: Secretary of state fired by Trump in Russian Federation warning
But setting aside how Trump went about sacking Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and replacing him with CIA Director Mike Pompeo, the fact that he did it has the potential to be good for the U.S. and good for Israel. “As soon as we get the facts straight, if we agree with them, we will condemn Russian Federation or whoever it may be”.

Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced he has ousted Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and will nominate as his replacement CIA Director Mike Pompeo. The President’s decision comes as he prepares for talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Tillerson also hardened his stance towards Moscow, much to Trump’s displeasure. According to The New York Times, after a conference call about North Korea organized by national security adviser H.R. McMaster, Tillerson stayed on the line with Mattis and, unaware the other participants were still listening, complained about a series of meetings the National Security Council had set up to consider military options – “signs, Mr. Tillerson said, that (the NSC) was becoming overly aggressive”.
President Trump said Thursday in the Oval Office that news reports of a coming mass exodus from his White House are ‘very false’. “But I personally thought Rex Tillerson gave very, very sound advice, and obviously was very close to him”.
Pompeo and Trump align on the major issues facing this administration. The timing therefore caught State Department officials on the hop because Tillerson was on his way back from a weeklong tour of six African states. His disputes with the president were widely known-often because Trump took them public-and they made it clear that Tillerson couldn’t effectively perform the most elemental part of his job: speaking for the president in public at home and in private overseas.
Both Pompeo and Haspel will have to be confirmed in their new roles by the Senate. (Personally, I think Cohn and Tillerson were not remotely what the base was looking for when they voted Trump).
Wilhelm II, who 14 year later began the World War I, and Trump do seem to share certain qualities, including petulance and a strong narcissistic streak.
President Trump talks with reporters as he gets a briefing on border wall prototypes Tuesday in San Diego. Though there were tensions between the two men, last Christmas it seemed Tillerson had reached a working balance with the President.
European diplomats saw some chance Pompeo may have more influence over Trump than Tillerson, who antagonized the US president by reportedly calling him a “moron” and who differed with Trump on Iran and other issues.
“Know that I will continue to pray for our country, our leaders, and your efforts to make this world a better place than we found it”, Tillerson said Friday in the message, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press.
Multiple diplomats tell CNN it was highly unusual to receive guidance from home to avoid retweeting or repeating the official words of their own undersecretary.
Trump’s new economics director is a climate denier who thinks animals can “snuggle” under pipelines.
First, anything upon which Mr Tillerson pronounced or offered in Kingston is unlikely to have been bankable. “And I think we’re going to miss the counterweight”.
So the president and his aides decided that they had no choice but to take direct action, and on March 9 while Secretary Tillerson was at the tail end of his trip to Africa, the White House chief of staff John Kelly contacted him and told him, without elaboration, that he would soon be the subject of a tweet from Mr Trump.

A White House spokesman said Haspel already had “pretty public bipartisan support”, including from Leon Panetta, who led the Central Intelligence Agency under former Democratic President Barack Obama.
