Rez Infinite is Coming To PlayStation VR
Tetsuya Mizuguchi took to the PlayStation Blog to go into more detail about the game, which was playable at the event this weekend.

Naturally, while this demo is very exciting with the tech, there is a strong likelihood that “Rez Infinite” could also be feature as a PS4 (non VR) title.
Running at 1080p/60fps (120fps in PS VR), Mizuguchi says that Rez Infinite offers an experience that “comes closest to what we saw in our heads when we were creating it”, with “vivid colours”, “crystal-clear textures” and “razor-sharp lines”.
Rez originally launched for the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 in 2001.
It seems that, this will also be a substantial step up as far as performance concerned too as the VR variant will work at 120 fps with full 3D audio. “Our time is coming, my friends”.
There’s a – sort of – new Rez game on the way. Revolutionary. Ahead of its time.
You don’t need a PlayStation VR headset to play it, either, with the game also supporting a standard 2D mode.

One of the games announced this weekend was “Rez”, a musical shooter game with nearly psychedelic graphics first released in 2001.
