Members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are seeking a briefing from the NCAA and “any sports companies caught up” with the fraud and corruption scandal that has rocked college basketball this week.

Along with Gatto and the coaches, the others charged in the case so far include Adidas employee Merl Code, former National Basketball Association agent Christian Dawkins, financial adviser Munish Sood, and two others.

During the investigation, Louisville officials provided the information that Pitino was responsible for the frauds of his program.

This time it is a bribery scandal, revealed Tuesday, in which 10 coaches and associates with ties to multiple major programs have already been arrested.
