Rick Ross Has Just Blessed Us With His Adele “Hello” Remix

After giving Adele’s comeback single “Hello” a six-day stretch to live on its own, it’s remix time.

On the heels of releasing his “Sorry” video teaser, Rick Ross releases another #RenzelRemix to promote his forthcoming eighth studio album Black Market.

The latest artist to put their spin on the hit is Rick Ross.

Ross doesn’t tweak the track much – save for a few distorted glitches and a “Maybach Music” stamp – and simply inserts a quick verse in between the song’s aching intro and pounding outro.

The record-breaking song was chosen by Ross as part of his recent Renzel Remixes series, according to Pitchfork. He starts off very soft, but as the piano builds he gets more intense during the verse.

The singer released the track as the first cut from her forthcoming third album, which marks her first new LP in almost five years. (Sample lyric: “Invited to the Grammys/ but I feel so out of place.”) Did anybody ask for this? “I remixed her vibe”.
