Now, Uber will deliver you kittens.
What can $30 do for you on a stressful or boring Thursday late morning to mid-afternoon without needing to move around so much? Yes, you read that correctly – tomorrow you can request on-demand kitten delivery (pending availability) of REAL LIVE KITTENS to your place of work. A $30 “snuggle fee” will be charged for each session and will benefit the LA/SPCA.
To celebrate National Cat Day on Thursday, the Humane Society of West Michigan is teaming up with Uber.
“You win, Uber”, came a tweet from Canada Wednesday.
“The best part”, said Uber’s announcement, is that all the cats are eligible for adoption.
Uber and local animal groups have a purr-fect opportunity.
If all goes well, people can apply to adopt the kittens on the spot, Uber representatives stated.
Once the kittens arrive, you and your friends will get to enjoy 15 minutes of kitten playtime. Kitten requesters will pay Uber through the app, and in turn Uber will make a donation to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.

Request “KITTENS” between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday. One thing to remember, though, is that basic economic law applies equally to cats.
