Ridin’ In Style! The BMW “30 Jahre M3” Limited Edition
It has been three decades of the existence of the BMW M3, and to celebrate the special occasion, the Bavarian auto maker has announced 500 “30 Jahre M3” special edition models will be built.

The BMW “30 Jahre M3” Limited Special Edition “will be available at selected dealers beginning in August, 2016”.
All U.S.-bound 30 Jahre M3s wear a deep coat of Macao Blue paint, a color first seen on the E30 M3 Sport Evolution.
Pricing starts at $83,250 for the manual transmission-equipped version, and $86,150 if you want BMW M’s dual-clutch box.
BMW spruced up the cabin by adding two-tone black and blue leather with contrast stitching, black chrome accents, and a sprinkling of carbon fiber trim.
In addition to celebrating their first centennial, BMW is also celebrating 30 years of one of their most iconic, if not the most iconic models, ever produced: the BMW M3. That means power is provided by a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine tuned to churn out 444 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The U.S.-spec versions will get BMW’s suite of driver aids like blind spot monitoring, cameras and a speed limit warning. The 7-speed M double clutch transmission pairs nicely with the power, providing a 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds, and 4.0 seconds with manual transmission.

While the visual changes are enough for many buyers, BMW saw it fit to also make the Competition Package standard on this limited model. The ride comes rocking the Competition Package which finds an adaptive M suspension has been comprehensively aligned for increased performance, with new springs, dampers and stabilizers, along with 20-inch forged Light Alloy. Additional equipment includes the Executive Package, which includes Head-up Display and provides additional comfort with the Heated Steering Wheel, Rear View Camera, Heated Rear Seats, Park Distance Control, Wireless Charging.
