The “Diamonds” hitmaker, who has graced the cover of NME’s new free magazine, has revealed how far she is from finishing the anticipated record. “In my mind she’s a role model, I’m completely not”, said Rihanna. “I just don’t think it would make sense”.
“To me, it’s never done until it’s done”, she tells the magazine. So maybe Rihanna and Taylor can still be friends, just don’t expect a duet.
So her eighth album proper doesn’t yet have a tracklisting (“I have so many songs I love – and they’re so different – that it’s hard to actually put them all on the same album“). “It’s nearly admirable that Rihanna knows herself and knows her brand and doesn’t feel like she has to change that or mold it in order to fit someone else’s”, the report said.
Rihanna has offered up an update on her highly anticipated new release.
Kanye, who is an executive producer for the project wanted to be a part of the production of her album, Rihanna shared with NME.
On the other hand, Rihanna apparently does not want to be performing anywhere with Taylor Swift. She also added that their schedules are “entirely opposite” and they have to wait for the time that they could work on the studio together.

“Er, I doubt it”, is Rihanna’s response when asked if she’d accept an invitation to become the latest in a long succession of artists to join Swift on stage.
