“Anti” finally closes the void Rihanna left after her 2012 record, “Unapologetic”.

The track was produced by Boi-1da, Vinylz and Sevn Thomas and follows on from her recent releases, FourFiveSeconds, American Oxygen and Better Have My Money.

The Tidal-only deal means that the LP will exclusively stream on the site for one week.

The Barbadian singer will go on a world tour next month, with the first stop in San Diego.

Same Ol’ Mistake appears to feature the same soundbed and vocal melody as Tame Impala’s original called New Person, Same Old Mistakes which closes their Grammy-nominated album Currents.

Billboardpreviously reported that Anti would be released by surprise by Friday. The tour will also feature Travis Scott and The Weekend. The collaboration between Rihanna and Samsung throughout ANTIdiaRy culminated in the gift of download codes for fans, and since the album’s release just 14 hours ago, TIDAL has fulfilled more than 1 million downloads.

All of these will be available with Tidal’s trial version of 60 days.

Moments later, Rihanna tweeted the album could be downloaded for free with code “anti”. Rihanna made a decision to drop the single on her official Twitter, complete with artwork to support the single, which is poised to be a major bop at clubs.

Streaming services, which offer on-demand access online, have grown rapidly in recent years and become a key part of the music industry’s commercial strategies.
